    Gregory Duhon, MD: Internal Medicine

    Dr. Gregory Duhon, MD, is a dedicated specialist in Internal Medicine and serves as a Hospital Doctor with expertise in critical care, emergency room medicine, and crisis management. He started his academic journey with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from LSU, followed by earning his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. He furthered his medical training at the Jewish Hospital of Cincinnati.

     

    Dr. Duhon's academic contributions include writing research abstracts and manuscripts, as well as presenting his work at an important gathering of the American College of Physicians in Ohio.

     

    Driven by a fundamental belief in the power of individuals to make a positive impact, Dr. Greg Duhon demonstrated this ethos during his residency. He took time off to join flood relief efforts in his home state of Louisiana, establishing a clinic at Baton Rouge's Celtic Media Centre. There, he provided medical care to those displaced by the flood, managed diabetes cases, administered tetanus vaccines, filled prescriptions, and offered compassionate support to the flood victims. This commitment to compassionate care and empathetic communication has become his hallmark, whether in the midst of a crisis or in traditional hospital settings, earning the respect of patients and fellow healthcare professionals.

     

    Outside the realm of medicine, Dr. Gregory Duhon, MD, enjoys cultivating passion fruit, surfing, traveling, and preparing both Cajun and Vietnamese dishes. In a testament to his adventurous spirit, he accepted a challenge from his competitive brother to participate in a triathlon, which he eagerly embraced. Dr. Duhon has since achieved impressive milestones, including completing an Olympic Triathlon and a Half Ironman, with his current focus on preparing for the Ironman Triathlon.
